About Me and This Web Site

Here I am embarking on another new adventure. Wish me luck.

Who am I? My name is William A. Ford, but please call me Bill. I've got a Collection of Links to various computer help and how-to web sites with a few how-to's spread out on the site as well. I'm going to re-organize some of those how-to's and bring them over here and use this site for more direct help with computer problems instead of mixing them in with all of those links I've collected over the years.

And, I'm going to finally do something I've been wanting to do for some time now; I'm going to share reader's e-mails here. I get e-mails from readers of all of my web sites asking for help with their computer/s and I respond as best as I can. Now, with their permission of course, I'm gonna start sharing those questions and answers here.

I won't be doing anything new or improved here over what others already do with their web sites, forums, and newsletters. I'm just gonna share with everyone Online what I'm already sharing with one or three other folks by e-mail. Nothing new and improved about that.

1) I do not collect personal information about anyone for any reason. I do sometimes save e-mails, but then Outlook crashes, again, and wipes them out.
2) I will not share any personal information about anyone who contacts me to ask a question, regardless of whether they give me permission to use the e-mail exchange on my web site or not, to anyone for any reason. Don't ask.
3) I can't make it any simplerer than that, now can I?

I've been asked several times if I'd start my own forums. I'm thinking about it..We'll see...Maybe.
